when her gaze returned to stonestar frecklewhisker could see a certain annoyance coming from the she-cat her blue eyes calmly listened matching the leaders gaze, her ears flciked lightly forward in silence.. as stonestar opened her mouth she blinked slowly letting the words hit her ears she felt some what angery she did not think her leader was an idiot she was making sure stonestar thought threw her decsion. but she did not let this scolding show on her face. when there was silence frecklewhisker breathed in deeply.

only to see stonestar burn her gaze more deeply into her fur, but still her face showed no emotion though anger was still boiling up in her fur. again stonestar opneed her mouth an an mewed on telling her to gather ashpool darkwing if he was up to it, whisperskies an ivystep.. she was about to dip her head but then the leader added to her to act like a deputy an not a scarredkit, her eyes narrowed as she dipped her head slowly, her blue eyes burning with anger, her tail flicked as she turned around gazing a short look downwards at the medicine cat, before moving her gaze to the enterance.. she held in all her anger as she weaved around the corner anger burnign from her eyes she took a deep breath, though she was furious, she easily got angered an this tipped the trail of anything all she did was say her part of concern an get frowned upon her tail flicked as she came out of the leaders den as light hit her face she again took a deep breath in silence letting her anger stay in her pelt not showing it to her clan mates, she scanned her eyes around the camp an saw ashpool.. who was walking towards cave frecklewhisker trotted froward keeping her gaze at a gentle way before stopping in front of the she-cat dipping her head in greeting before mewing her orders " ashpool you are needed to speak with stonestar aswell as ivystep an darkwing that's only if he is up to it? would you be able to gather them for me please i need to find whisperskies?" she mewed in her calm voice as she usualy would. she waited a moment before nodding to the other turnign her head an headign for the warriors den in silence again trotting over letting some off her hot air out. she was still rastated at stonestar thinking she was a kit. rolling her eyes she just wanted to forget it all slipping her head in the warriors den she looked around blankly her eyes trying to adjust to the dark it wasnt helping much so she called out to her freind " whisperskies are you in here?"

Take me away

She saw her daughter Cave's yellow eyes flicker towards something behind her before she heard the pawsteps of an approching cat. Turning, she blinked her dark blue eyes as she recognised the deputy, Frecklewhisker. Her ears pricked at the tortoiseshell's words before she glanced across to her brother. He took one look at her face and rose to his paws, trying to keep the movement smooth despite his sore limb.

Pool watched the deputy as she slipped away, looking for Wing's daughter Whisperskies. Others might question Stonestar choosing to include a young warrior in her council, but Pool recognised it as a wise move. Younger, fresher, more.... innocent warriors often had viewpoints or ideas their elders didn't. What ever current she had sensed in the air had indeed meant trouble, trouble enough to call a meeting of seniors and elders.

Collecting Wing and the elder Ivystep along the way- and ignoring the elder's annoyed mutterings- Pool slipped past them and headed into the leader's den, brushing against the wall and sitting down close to it to allow the cats to follow to enter in and take places as well. Pool's dark blue eyes flickered across to Rippaw, curiosity mirroring in her face. What had he seen?

He was still flexing his elbow joint and testing out the strength of the forelef when Pool suddenly rose and walked away, heading towards her daughter Cave. Wing's fierce amber gaze flickered across to his sister Raven's, and he blinked at her amused smile. "What?" Her pale blue eyes laughed and her grin grew brighter as her black tail flicked through the air. "I do believe our niece Reflection has fallen for a warrior, brother."

Wing almost rolled his eyes. "Any beetle-brain could see that, Raven. Even one as dim as you." She shoved his good shoulder with a quick forepaw, and he growled affectionately back. The three siblings had come far together, and had never left each other's sides. None of them could imagine anything pushing them apart now. It was unimaginable. Wing caught his sister's face and realised she had just spoken to the deputy. Rising to his paws he waited until Pool had come over to join him, flicking her tail towards the elder, Ivystep, also.

"Stonestar wants to see us." Flicking his brown ears at his sister's words, Wing followed immediately, hiding a grin as he heard Ivystep complain behind him. It didn't matter who they were or where they lived, elders every where were exactly the same. One day, he'd porbably act like that and think nothing of it. Following his sister into the den, the former Cave-Guard dipped his head respectfully towards Stonestar, taking a place beside his sister, his whiskers twitching in interest.

She had just gotten to her ears in her cleaning when she felt Ashsong nudge her shoulder, harder then necessary. Ivystep looked up in time to see that former Tribe cat Ashpool calling her to follow with a flick of her fluffy grey tail. Ivystep's green eyes flickered slightly before she rose, slightly unsteady on her aching paws. Signalling Ashsong away when she hopped forward to help, Ivystep trailed after the other two, her unusually-patterned tail curling over her back in annoyance. "Give me a missing leg or a bitten-off tail, but oh no, I just had to get aching paws I want to chew off. And apprentices who couldn't find dry moss even if it killed them. And kits who won't leave me alone."

But despite the muttered words, her green eyes glowed merrily. She loved her kits. Truth be told, if she lost one more she'd be pushed over the edge. The sudden disappearance of her mate, Stormbreeze, along with Featherwing, Breezesoul's littermate, and Cloversplash and Sootyowl, Ashsong and Stonestar's siblings, had shattered her. Not many cats lost so much family at once. So when she joined the council inside the leader's den, she limped across and sat down beside her daughter Stonestar, refusing to be formal and instead reaching over to smooth a fluffy piece of fur on her daughter's head. "You always had that funny patch of fur."

the herding of the certain paws entered the leaders den. hjer ears flicked starring at the pitch blackness of the warriors den she waited in silence but there was no noise.. or rustle of any one awkening. she frowned she thought she knew whisperskies wqas in here. take a moment to smeel the stale warm air of the den. there was a couple bodies still sleeping there but she couldnt pick up whisperskies scent taking a deep breath she again called out to her friend " whisperskies.. are you in here?!" her whisper was loud like the sound would have been from a cave just a loud repetion of a echo..

again she waited but this time she waited a shoter time before huffing a sigh, backing ou slowly, out back out the den enterance her shoulders shifted in the tiny space she was a tall calico an most times it was hard getting out of den the leaders den was most likely the easiest one to get threw of them all..

her tail flicked in the air hearing talking with reflectionlake an faintbark she was blank an oblivous that she would have been on a war path with the other. but as she skidded oouside of the den. she gave the outter den a last look seeing if someting would stir.. but again nothing letting a bubble of breath cath in her mouth the skyclan deputy looked around the clearing. slowly seeing none of whisperskies body around frowning she guessed she would have to leave out her close friend out of this meeting. turning tail the deputy slowly turned around heading towards once again to the leaders den her tail twithced she was sure whisperskies was aroundd camp unless during the time she had arrived in the leaders den maybe the warrior decided to go out? maybe?..

the warrior's den was a warm welcome when she had entered it earlier that day after a long morning of hunting for the clan, the tracking prey animals exhausting once mid-morning had come around. whisperskies had carried in a few pieces of prey for the clan, her paws tingling slightly with each step she had took. before she had fully grown conscious of what she was doing, the thick furred warrior had dropped off the prey and was already collapsing into her nest, her body relaxing for the need of a nap after the long hours she had taken hunting. before she could force herself to remain awake and keep herself awake, she had drifted off into sleep.

what woke her was the warmth that was seeping into her pelt, a steady heat that had settled and felt as though it had been there for a while. blearily, she stretched her legs out a little inside her nest, giving a small growl as she felt the intensity of the heat rise against her fur. it was almost as though the steadily drifting sun was determined to make her get up and out of her nest, encouraging her to actually do something besides slump in her nest, taking a nap after her morning services. at last, she opened her brilliantly spring green eyes once she had had enough of the near smothering heat burning into her pelt. automatically, she cringed back as her eyes shut tightly once more, stunned by the blinding sunlight that had seared into her eyes.

grumbling soundlessly to herself inside her head, the warrior rolled over, feeling her limbs awkwardly shift as she did so. carefully opening her eyes now, she peered out of the warrior's den, looking at where the sun had come from. she was surprised to see that not much time at all had passed -- if anything, it had only been an hour or two since she had first come into the den and sank down into her nest. oblivious to the approaching deputy, heading for the den and her, and scrubbed at her face with a white forepaw, mentally wondering how such a small nap had done marvels.

" whisperskies are you in here?"

she froze mid-rub, her white paw half over her eyes as she caught the voice. wondering if she was hearing things, she flicked her ears up and let her paw drop down to the den floor. for a moment, she looked around for who had said her name, but none of the few warriors accompanying her in the den seemed to have said anything. just then, she heard the sounds of movement from the den entrance. her head sharply turned and she spotted frecklewhisker hovering in the den's entrance, watching her; automatically, she shot to her paws like a rabbit would race across moorland. heat flushed beneath her pelt as she met the other she-cat's silvery gaze, slightly bewildered that she had failed to realize that her friend and skyclan's deputy had been calling her.

"yes, sorry . . . " but the deputy must have missed her, because the calico was walking away. feeling further humiliated and shamed, the other she-cat shot from the den and trotted quickly in the deputy's wake. "frecklewhisker, i'm here, sorry for taking a few moments," she blabbered out, knowing the words were a breathless rush but not caring much. quickly, she pulled up beside the deputy to match the other's steps. "you called me?"

she gave camp a glance, she began to walk on threw back to the leaders den when she heard a rush of footsteps from behind frowning slightly the tall lanky she cat turned her calico head towards her clan mate, staring in the eyes of the cat she was looking for. a smile graced her face as her patteren tail swayed. her ears twitcched hearing her friends words. an she smiled slightly but remember this was importent..

as the other neared towards her side frecklewhisker mewed quietly for whisperskies ears only. " stonestar has called a meeting with the elders an the senior warriors..." she paused looking around no ears were in hearing range.. " rippaw has had a dream, a bad one at that. stonestar wnats to consult the others.. come or we are going to be late" her voice was in her deputy oderng tone but her facial expression was kind. as the deputy turned around not waiting for herr firned to respoond to her words an she walked a few more tail lengths before entering the leaders den once again her pelt ruffled alittle remembering what stonestar said she was acting like a kit.

she couldnt believe it that she had said it in the first place, her head looked over her shoulder hearing a couple muffle mews, she signalled her tail to her friend to be silent, as they walked around the corner her paws slowed down until they had came face to face with the others that had sat down she blinked seeing the elder ivystep sitting right next to stonestar. but frecklewhisker said nothing as she walked around behind the others until she had a spot on the otherside, she sat down her ears whisking forward. watching them all in silence waiting for stonestar to inform themthough frecklewhisker couldnt help thinking of it all. starlcna had planned anohter thing to happen in the clans when it hadnt been long enough from the last time when the troubles waas with shadowclan, an now the deputy had a feeling that the other clan were in volved. that something was going to happen to riverclan she ws sure of it.. frowning at her thoguhts frecklewhisker looked up to stonestar who sat there while everyone got comfortable one day she would be leader, an one day she would be doing this. maybe she was acting like a kit.. she studided the other. how the other sat in a different wat that seeemd so different from the others. maybe it was because when starclan gave her lives.. maybe it changed her having that many live bestoed upon her. matybe the same will happen to her.. tilting her head frecklewhisker gave a minute to look around for where whisperskies had seated..

(ooc) I AM BACK BABY. Hold the applause until you read my post . . . it has been many a long moon, my friends. I have kinda forgotten most of what happens in this thread so I will be winging most of this. ENJOY THE MADNESS.



The tabby she-cat paced in ever more-frantic circles after Frecklewhisker left. Maybe it was her own closeness to StarClan, but the very air now felt unsettled and Stonestar swore she could feel cat spirits rushing past here. As to whether or not they were fleeing or rushing into a battle, she could not yet tell.
She stopped pacing as cats came into her den. She was entirely too agitated to mew a hello, but she had enough energy to duck her head out of her mother's reach.

"Mom, please,"

she rumbled through gritted teeth. She couldn't be angry though. Ivystep inspired her every day, and even though she and Ashsong were the only kits left now, the strain rarely showed on her mother's face.

Ashsong . . . no. I do not want her here. I cannot stand her trying to boss me around like she did when we were kits. I'm the one with the mate and family . . . not to mention nine lives. Her advice is not welcomed.

She felt a twinge of unease at her scathing mental thoughts about her sister, but there was no time to address it. Stonestar's piercing gaze scanned the warriors as they filed into her den.

"Thank you all for coming on such a short notice. Riptide has just come to me with a very disturbing message, presumably from StarClan. There are many aspects to interpret and I am asking for your assistance in this. I believe this dream spells danger of some sort, but I cannot put my paw on where this danger may come from, or even if it will directly affect us."

Taking a deep breath, she glanced at Riptide, who had not said anything all this time and still sat there silent and still.

"Riptide . . . I know I have already asked you to relive this once, and I know these things are never easy, but could you please tell us once more what you saw?"

Her voice had dropped, becoming lower, quieter, and gentler than any cat would ever have thought possible. She had softened after her Clan-hopping journey -- not that she would admit it -- and gained an appreciation of medicine cats.

The white and black tom sat in silence, a rather distant look upon his white face, his mis-matched gaze of ice blue and lime, green lost in the distant swirling worlds of the dream. The black she-cat, the green eyes, the sounds of cats in mourning, the sound of cats screaming in agony, the smell of death. The words she had spoken, played in his mind Death is swift to those unwitting.... But when the clans are one, they can defeat death.... The cracks are starting to form, but even as they do, death is due..... It was like a riddle which twisted and turned within his mind, seeming so simple yet at the same time spinning with difficulty. He hardly noticed the older cats entering the den, he continued to sit, lost in his own thoughts only called forth when his leader spoke his name. He jumped and turned his gaze upon her, hearing the rest of her words. He gazed upon her a moment in silence, before flicking his gaze to the clans elders and more senior warriors. His white tail tip curled as he thought of how he was going to tell them, he rose to his black paws, deciding that standing and speaking to them might bring their attention more upon him. His unblind, lime, green eye flicked to each of their faces as he started to speak"I had a dream... A dream sent from starclan, I think it suggests some impending terrors for all the clans, not just us.... Once I have told you what I saw, heard and smelt you can give your thoughts, for if you stop me before I have finished.... I may be unable to finish all together...." That said he paused a moment before continuing more boldly, more confidently"I was in a meadow by a river and a black, starclan she-cat appeared... She was very beautiful.... But terrifying at the same time... With her big, forest, green eyes.... But the moment she appeared the air was colder.... then the air around us filled with the sound of screaming cats, screaming out for their loved ones.... For help.... For them to return to them... Then... Then meat started falling from the sky.... But it was bad meat, it smelt wrong....." He paused and drew breath a moment, calming his pounding heart before he continued" Then that beautiful, haunting, terrifying she-cat spoke to me... I feel her words were a warning, the words were 'Death is swift to those unwitting.... But when the clans are one, they can defeat death.... The cracks are starting to form, but even as they do, death is due.....' At That point his gaze returned to Stonestar, as he fell silent, his white ears flickering to and fro. The memories still playing in his mind as he waited to hear what the older, wiser cats around them had to say concerning the dream sent from starclan.

Ashpool

The dark grey long-furred she-cat's gaze flickered across to Stonestar, hiding a smile as their fierce leader had the duck to avoid her mother's ministrations. But the former healer's ears pricked as Stonestar began to speak, already guessing what she was about to say. At the request of offering advice, Pool's sleek head turned to look towards Riptide, though after a moment, her navy blue eyes dropped slightly, so she was not staring directly at him. She, too, knew what it was like to be under the stares of your elders, chosen to voice a message that may or may not be lethal for your Clan.

The youngster rose to his paws, swallowing back his nerves and fears. Pool sensed it was not speaking in front of others that had disturbed him, but what he had seen. She wondered how different StarClan dreams were from Endless Hunting dreams. If having a vengeful she-cat giving horrific visions was different from visions of screaming shadows and caves filling with water, then she was a mouse. Seemed as if both sets of ancestors had their good and bad qualities. Pool had once dreamed of butterflies, a sign that spring had arrived and the Tribe could began risking forays into eagles' nests for eggs and chicks. Endless Hunting had never sent her anything with no reason.

"It is a message for certain, no dream could be so clear." Her gaze turned slowly back to Stonestar, the ominous words of the mystery she-cat curling through her mind. " 'When the Clans are one, they can defeat death..' Many times, StarClan has called the Clans to work together. it sounds as if they are asking us to do so again." Her fluffy grey tail flicked in thought, her mind reflecting the sudden mews erupting all around her. Soemthing was coming.... cracks were starting to form.... was it coincidence Beewings had come the other day to ask for Riptide's assistance?

Darkwing

The dark mottled tom glanced away from Stonestar as his daughter Whisperskies entered, pride glowing in his amber eyes. It seemed another one in the family had earnt Stonestar's respect. But he turned his attention to young Riptide, his dark fur ruffling at the StarClan cat's prophecy of doom. He heard his sister pool puzzling out the words, while Wing was troubled by the more practical omen. It was clear something was wrong with a food source. and since the bad meat had fallen from the sky, could it be indicating they were about to run into prey troubles? His white-tipped tail flicked as he considered the possible threat before facing Stonestar.

"Meat falling from the sky. Bad meat. Death is swift those unwitting." there a sense of cold fury in the last of his words, as if he was annoyed that a StarClan cat thought they were incapable of looking after themselves. "Sounds like we might face prey trouble soon. Maybe poisoned meat. Perhaps hunting patrols should be vigilent about what they catch, and apprentices not let out of camp alone. Though with leaf-bare here..." His dark ears flattened slightly. Just what they all needed, prey trouble when they were already running low.

Ivystep

The light grey tabby and white flicked her daughter's shoulder reproachfully as she ducked out reach, before the old she-cat lifted a painful forepaw and tried to lick some of the aches away. A nap about now would be most welcome, but beneath the aging fur Ivystep's spirit was still strong. Her green eyes were locked onto Riptide, and her ears pricked as he spoke. As the others spoke up in the varying ways, Ivystep refrained from speaking out to them all. instead, she ducked her head a little lower to her daughter's ears, her voice low-pitched though not secretive. "Rather amusing how this vision takes place beside a river, when SkyClan has none." A slight hiss escaped her as she caught her claw on her tongue, and then she was busy fixing her paw, her ears pricked to the conversation, curiosity burning in her patchy fur.
