Many of the band were not a fan of what their leader had chosen to do, more were not happy with giving three ex-Spawn tom's free access too their land and yet all the band seemed too afraid to say anything in their presence. The black tom had noted that immediately, the looks they got, the anger and fear in all the band cats eyes, yet they always looked away first when he stared straight back. Ulster was not a fan of this plan that Aemon had managed to set in motion with Cody, he did not like being made to hang out in a place so tinged with memories for him and he longed for the day he'd get to leave this place. But for now he remained as they used the Death Watch as their messengers, spreading word out across the loner lands of the slow crawl of the Spawn defeat, spreading detailed word about the deaths of many of its most feared members, telling tales of Taka's growing weakness.
The more the message spread, the less Taka would be feared, the less power he'd hold and the more likely he'd respond with something big, exposing himself too the three hunters. That or Taka would respond to their words like it was the challenge it was by coming for them, Ulster knew Aemon thought the calico would come for them, intent of making an example of them and he knew it was that thought which had lead too the strong sense of fear within the Death Watch. For the cat's in the band knew only too well what happened when Taka was angered, they knew if he came too their home, he would not leave without bloodshed and he knew that was why the band had not insisted that their higher ranked members remove the three hunters because they knew that they stood a higher chance of dealing with the threat with them that without them. So for the moment the black tom was content to wait, impatiently, ignoring the stares, glaring back at every angry look he received, all while know Boba and Aemon received far worse looks as actual ex-Spawn cats.
Right in that moment he was moving through the camp, ignoring most of the stares he received as he tread along old paths he'd walked before. Too his right was the gathering and eating place, he knew if he continued that way he'd reach open ground for inside camp training. Back the way he had come was the cliff face with parts of an old two-legger mine within creating a network of tunnels where the band before the Death Watch had been here had once lived, where the Death Watch had tried too live until the Spawn had taught them their mistake, now he knew the caves were used as storage space as well as cells for prisoners. There was the path way up the cliff face too which went all the way too the top, where the leader's den was, where meetings and trials were held, where the top warriors of the band had their dens as well as their families. But he'd come from that way, the black tom kept walking knowing too his right was a rock where squads would meet too hear their duties for the day and beyond that the top healers dens. Ulster ignored all this though and kept walking, passing den after den, cat after cat, walking through the first defensive wall, taking note of the upgrades too it since he'd been one of the band.
The black tom kept walking, the dens still stretched on, he knew there was another training ground in this section of the camp though the band seemed too of expanded further here there looked too be training obstacle areas too his right which he could see a group of cats working on as he passed. He reached the second defensive wall around the camp where he paused, gazing out over the slightly less populated third section of the camp, there were still dens here, but this area seemed to be much more dedicated to trainin, testing and organising new arrivals. Which there always seemed to be more of everyday in the Death watch camp, arriving through one of the two entrances in the third double barrier wall of the camp. Ulster knew every new entry into the camp was stopped at those two entrances, thoroughly questioned and examined before put through some kind of test that the band leader had created to see if they could be trusted. The camp was much more fortified and much bigger than Ulster remembered. Yet despite all this he, Boba and Aemon had managed to slip in, so Ulster was under no illusions into the fact that if Taka came too he would likely be able to slip in too.
He was distracted by a voice"Come to see the new arrival?" The black tom turned his green gaze to fix on the one eyed tortoiseshell behind him, noting as always his half black, half brown face before saying"What new arrival?" At that the other tom smirked before padding past him, beckoning him with his tail. So the black tom followed the ex-Spawn cat, all the way to the west entrance where the tortoiseshell tom pointed out a certain she-cat stuck at the entrance, waiting to be questioned. His black head tilted as beside him Boba spoke"It seems Aemon can't escape the past as easily as he'd hoped..." At that the black tom responded lightly"We could remove the problem for him?" At that the tortiseshell tom laughed a rare laugh before saying"As full of quips as ever Ulster." Ulster gave the ex-Spawn cat a trademark smirk which never quite reached his forest green eyes before setting off too the entrance saying"Lets go say hello.." The smirk faded too a look of focus, before sliding to a look of cold amusement as he reached the west entrance where he spoke"A little bird told me that a lost little she-cat has arrived... And I should of known they were speaking of you Maioku.." The guards were looking around at his arrival, eyes widening slightly as they realised it wasn't just him but Boba too and all Ulster did was grin wider, a cold yet wicked glint to his forest, green eyes.
