It was early afternoon and he was padding towards the border Thunderclan shared with Windclan, the pace was steady, but the atmosphere was relaxed though within him the golden, blonde leader felt his veins boil with a fiery temper. The border patrols in this direction had only reported bad news to him. Windclan were sending out alot more patrols than normal and the stench at the border was apparently overpowering, He had heard many crazy theories behind this from the younger cats but the Thunderclan leader and all the more senior members of the clan knew that this meant only one thing, their was an attack coming and he had no idea quite what to do about it yet. But he knew once he saw and smelt for himself that he would instantly know what to do, because he was that sort of cat, he needed the evidence before him and then suddenly his brain would remember how to work. That was why he had decided to lead this border patrol, his golden, blonde tail flowing gently behind him, curling at its tip, his sky, blue gaze examining the area ahead in silence. He allowed his warriors to chat among themselves, to be less formal on this patrol of their border he would not make hasty choices whilst on the patrol. But he was already betraying that thought the moment it came into his head, for as they neared the border he could feel his heart pounding with a sudden new force as if he was expecting something to happen. It was then he noticed the stench of Windclan, they weren't even at the border yet and he could already smell them. He knew that many Windclan cats must of been nearby the border recently, nothing but the sheer amount of numbers and recent visits to the border would produce that much Windclan stench. His nose wrinkles in disgust and then pushing through some under growth the border came into view, the closer they walked to it the stronger the stench got until he halted beside the line that marked the edge of Thunderclan territory, his golden, blonde tail tip twirled behind him in elegant circles as he glanced to the left and right and then stared across the border into Windclan's territory. There was currently no sign of any Windclanners, so Greenstar glanced towards his warriors and spoke"Make sure to mark this border well... We don't want them to think just because they have a stronger stench than us that we arn't prepared to defend this border...." While in his head he was rolling over ideas of what to do next as he stood there gazing over the border.
