I was recently looking at some writing prompts to see if any tickled my fancy. To my shock several did such a thing. Well I saw a rather large gallery of over 100 random prompts so I have included the link below for others to enjoy the love.
SO MANY PROMPTS - from Imgur
I decided to include a few from the provided link below, I found to be interesting. Practice creative writing, have fun with it. If you want post your creative writings here with the prompt you used to see what inspired you.
You don't need to do this, just figured it could put something up for others who are between posts and are looking for something to do. Who knows maybe one of the prompt will inspired a closed post or a series of posts.

The she cat groaned softly dragging her beaten body behind an old twoleg den, her leg stained with blood from both her and her opponent. She had been ambushed as when she had been hunting for mice to bring back to her sister, who was ill at the time. With a deep breath she dragged her limp hind leg under a broken fence before collapsing onto her side panting heavily. The scent of the dog, while slightly faded was still fresh enough to hopefully keep others away from her. The young she-cat hoped that anything finding the scent of cat blood mingled with dog with deter them from the area. The dog itself was only a small thing that was no threat to her, especially not after she sliced its nose open one evening. As her eyes closed to let her gather her thoughts thunder shook the air followed swiftly by lightning ripping through the night sky. Rain started to pour soaking her pale ginger & white coat, making the ground around her turn to mud. She laid there silently catching her breath as her leg slowly grew numb, from blood loss or the freezing rain hitting her pelt. With her remaining strength the ginger and white she-cat got herself under a makeshift den under a twoleg residence. It was here she took the chance to rest and recover knowing she had to get back to her sister as soon as her leg was able.
Her peace didn't last long as day after day the same group of cats kept finding her, attacking, and stealing her kills. This could not keep going on, her body could only handle so much on such a small amount of food. Any and all scraps she could gather after the ambushes went to her ill sister. Although she had been improving the last day or so worry filled the ginger. What if they followed her scent and hurt her sister when she was out hunting, they were a big threat. Luck had been on her side due to the constant rain muddying her scent easily, but it could only prevent them for so long. Carefully she began scent marking the area leading to the twoleg home, her plan was simple yet effective. They would return for her, she just knew it so to her disgusted she went to the filthy area in the alley. It had large amounts of rats, which could lead to illness if eaten although she had no intent to eat such vermin. With care she piled them near on of the trees in the yard, she made sure it was line perfectly it had to be for her plan to work. Her pale emerald eyes gazed at the tree, a dark grin began to fill her face as her plan came together as the sun began to set. She placed a paw on the bark about to climb up and to a hidden area above the small kill pile. Before she did the words she told her sister floated back, she had been sleeping oblivious to the danger she was in.
"I'm hiding in the tree tonight, and when they come to finish it, I'll make them pay"
